What Men Want in a Woman

Have you ever wondered what a man really wants from a woman? Surprisingly, this is a million-dollar question that baffles many women—what does a man want?

What a man expects from his woman depends on the man. To a large extent, it depends on his nationality, culture, time, and religion. What one man seeks in a woman need not necessarily be what all men seek in a relationship. However, there are a few common denominators.  

1. He wants her to be average sized. 

No longer are men attracted to the skinny and big-busted females one sees on television and on the covers of fashion magazines. A small percentage of them might still be attracted to them; but most men have now realized that there is more to a woman that her figure.  

A recent online survey has revealed the fact that men love an average-sized woman with plenty of curves. A man also wants his dream woman to be healthy. A Discovery health program stated that men are universally attracted to women whose waists are seventy percent the size of their hips. This measurement is also believed to be indicative of good health. 

2. He wants her to be an ideal mate. 

The ideal woman is self-confident and enthusiastic. Men have now begun seeing beauty in a woman’s personality. A man wants his woman to be kind, sincere, and caring. He wants her to talk to him, listen to him, and smile at him.  

3. He wants her to be well-dressed and neat. 

In online surveys, men have revealed that they love their women neatly dressed in casuals. They prefer women to wear feminine underwear, not the skimpy sexy underwear that models sport in adult magazines.  

While a man likes his woman to be neat and well-groomed, he prefers her minus too much of make up. At the same time, men love ogling at women who wear heavy make up. To be on the safer side, wear light make up when you go out with your man. 

4. He wants her to cook well. 

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Every woman who has enjoyed success with men knows that. He loves to be mothered a bit, and giving him a good meal is part of it. He loves you if he loves your food; so cook delicious, mouthwatering meals for your man.  

5. He wants her to be honest and frank. 

He wants you to be honest and frank. While he is not that eager to share his past with you, he wants to know everything about you. So tell him everything if he expresses an interest to know. 

6. He wants her to give him lots of space. 

Love might be the most important in the world for you, but for a man, it is space. He doesn’t like it if you are the emotionally hungry and clinging type. He will also love you if you don’t nag him.  

What a man wants from a woman is not much different from what a woman wants from a man. A man wants a woman who will be there for him always, love him, and care for him, a woman whom he can trust and share his life with.
